Bye Bye, Marc Jacobs

Unfortunately there was also some bad news.. At the end of the Paris Fashionweek creative mastermind behind Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, stepped from his fashion throne after 16(!) years of his amazing work as creative director at the French fashion brand. He puted a clear, sad statement in his last LV catwalk collection by coloring the entire show black. The entire decor gave a sad impression, such as the sad music that was played during the show. Jacobs gave a retrospect to his formal years at Vuitton by putting many flashback elements from his previous shows into it. On the program were the words: "For Robert Duffy (his bussinespartner) and Bernard Armault, all my love, always." written. I think that Marc Jacobs has had some amazing years working for Louis Vuitton and I really love (almost) all of his formal collections. Marc wants to focus on his own fashion brand and he is going to expand his line the upcoming years. It seems like he has some big plans for the future and we will keep hearing a lot of him! 

I would love to honor his work for Louis Vuitton. Therefore I will show you some pictures of the best pieces from the last few years on a row for you!

And finally, his last collection: Spring/summer 2014. It's a beautiful collection with an amazing decor! you can clearly see the elements of his previous collections that he brought back for his final show. I am looking forward to the expansion of Marc Jacobs' own line!
